Suzanne Linton – Managing Director
Post University (and after 3 years grafting in practice to get letters after her name) Suzanne reluctantly spent several years working as a Chartered Accountant. After realising that accountancy provided great business training but was not her ideal long-term career choice, she applied for jobs in Marketing. Unfortunately the thought of having an accountant in a Marketing team was not a leap many/any teams were willing to take. So, after spells at AMEC (working in UK, Europe and the US) and as Financial Director to a fast growing consultancy, she grabbed the opportunity to be part of a new agency start-up. Freestyle was born!
15 years on and she’s MD of the company and responsible for the overall strategy and growth of the business, but with a special focus on people, clients and staff. An active member of the Institute of Directors, the CEO Group and on the CBI SME Council, the opportunity to meet other business leaders (as well as getting invitations to Number 10) is invaluable.
In 2008 Suzanne disappeared off in to the wilds of South America on a 3-month sabbatical. Rumours abound that she was on a quest for the Lost City of Gold; taking in Peru, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile and the Galapagos Islands. Reports are suspiciously ambiguous as to the success of the mission.
Suzanne aspires to bring about world peace, achieve inner harmony and get five minutes to herself!
