Social Media Automation: Freestyle Interactive Storms SES New York!

When the world’s most esteemed search engine optimisation conference asks you to speak, you say yes.  When they ask you to lecture on the hottest topic to hit digital in a decade, that yes should be heard across the Atlantic!  Freestyle Interactive’s very own Tracy Falke hits the bright lights and big city for a spot of robot love.

No, really - bear with us.  Social media hit the digital scene in a big fashion in 2006, sending marketers across the globe into a tailspin.  The paradigm shift for brands and business was enormous.  The immediate value of the channel was clear to most marcomms teams: better brand experience, better customer service, and better targeting.  But PR teams weren’t ready or prepped for the two way dialogue that the revolution ushered in.  Big firms were rightly dubious about how far to entrench themselves, so they waited for the dust to settle.  Would this ‘next big thing’ cough up the cash?

Social media = ROI?

Anyone who’s been involved in social media to date understands it requires an unprecedented amount of human input and engagement on a level most organisations are not geared up to deliver.  Social media, by nature, requires fundamental process changes.  Until recently, it also seemed that it would require huge amounts of highly qualified human resource.

But what if we could make it all easier?  What if there was a more efficient way to manage your interactions?  How about lubricating the flow of content across all of the available social network channels and your own brand site?  Enter social media automation.

Search engine optimisation and social

Over 6000 of the world’s most well known technology providers, search engine marketers and industry professionals attended Search Engine Strategies New York (#SESNY).  Even Google’s Avinash Kaushik, delivered a keynote address.  But it was the idea of cyborg social that truly set the crowd alight.

There was a full house for the Automating Twitter panel, moderated by Matt McGowan, Publisher and Head of U.S. media giant Incisive Media. Speaking alongside Brett Tabke, CEO of WebmasterWorld.com & PubCon conference organiser, Hollis Thomases, founder of WebAdvantage.net & author of Twitter Marketing: An Hour a Day, and Paul Madden, owner of Crea8 New Media, Freestyle Interactive’s Content, Search and Social Specialist, Tracy Falkeunveiled a vision for the future of social media marketing (SMM).

In the middle of content, search and social

Tracy also moderated a venerable panel of SEO experts, and was even invited to interview speakers for the Search Engine Strategies Youtube channel.

We can’t wait to share what the world’s most well known bloggers and industry thought leaders had to say about Automating Twitter.  Stay tuned over the coming weeks for articles, podcast, videos and more!
