When most of you were lounging in your gardens, enjoying the late summer, two intrepid Freestylers were taking on a challenge that pushed their mental and physical strength to the limits.
On 11th September Craig and Ian climbed the nation’s three highest peaks; Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales. And, as if that wasn't hard enough, they tried to do all three in just 24 hours.
Freestyle Partner saves the day
The team had a last minute panic when their designated driver backed out but our very own Pat Moore came out of retirement to save the day. Craig tells us that Pat’s natural resourcefulness and paternal instinct was just what they needed. He handled the driving task with ease and made sure the team were all fed, watered and rested between mountains.
